Course Overview

You will read a person. Without them saying a word. Think Sherlock Holmes on steroids.

The Profiler Ribbon is not a body language course. It is how to profile a person without them saying a word. Built by Dr. Terry Oroszi, holder of two Paul Ekman Group certifications in microexpression analysis, Body Language Expert certification under FBI Special Agent (Ret.) Joe Navarro, Body Language Tactics certification under Greg Hartley and Scott Rouse, Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education, and federal advisory roles with the FBI JTTF and NSA. Co-taught with Dr. Brian Polkinghorn. Housed neuroscientist-in-residence Dr. David Ellis at Battelle Memorial Institute.

It begins in the Profiler Chamber, a psychological entry protocol for this work. Operational calm. Suppressed judgment. Build passive focus. From there you build Physical Autobiography — clues from hair, hands, clothing, shoes, environmental markers, accumulated biographical data. A working hypothesis before a word is spoken. The Ten-Archetype Cold Read system classifies anyone in the room. The Body Language Decision Tree is a real-time assessment framework — feet first, clusters only. The Long Game is the capstone field operation. Five sessions. Two weeks. The final product is a pre-negotiation intelligence brief built from advanced data alone.

Projected Self versus Tactical Reality. The jaw that tightens. The feet that angle away. You see both layers simultaneously.

The Biological Dashboard

Amygdala override. Reset Protocol mid-conversation. Under 90 seconds back to baseline. The hijack never completes.

Mental Posture

Braced. Shrinking. Operative. You identify the stance, yours and theirs, before the first word is exchanged.

The Cold Read

Physical Autobiography scan. Ten archetypes. Hybrid labels. Operational hypothesis before a word is spoken.

Unspoken Signals

Body Language Decision Tree. Feet first. Clusters only. The body breakdown from ground to face.

Social Shadow

Who moves toward them. Who defers. Who adjusts. Actual power versus projected power, visible before anyone speaks.

Social Malware Defense

Social Dynamics Detection

Reads organizational power independent of titles. Cannot be socially engineered into premature commitment.

Acknowledge-Redirect-Anchor. Returns hijacked conversations to rational engagement without conceding position.

Pre-Negotiation Intelligence

Arrives at negotiations with documented intelligence on interests, triggers, and social position. Quality most professionals never achieve.

Full Pipeline, Program Structure

The full pipeline is designed for completion within two academic semesters for dedicated students. Self-paced students typically complete it in 12 to 18 months. The certification standard does not change based on pace. Operational standard determines graduation. The calendar does not.

Field Assignments

Practical drills executed in real-world environments to build muscle memory. You do not learn these in a classroom.

Field Logs

Written intelligence reports documenting execution and analysis. Graded logs require 80% minimum. The ribbon is earned, not given.

Capstone Missions

Final multi-day operational deployments for ribbon certification. 10 days within a 14-day window. Maximum 2 non-consecutive rest days.
